Day 1 Discovery Exam

New patients at Mullen Family Chiropractic will complete intake paperwork during their first appointment.

The providers will review the patients’ health history and complete a focused spinal exam. Unless additional information is needed, such as X-rays, patients will receive an adjustment day of.

Each appointment is approximately 30-45 minutes long.

Do you take X-rays?

At Mullen Family Chiropractic we do not utilize x-ray imaging findings as part of our evaluation during adjustments.

We will absolutely review images or reports previously taken at other offices or hospitals related to physical trauma or previous chiropractic care. X-rays may be deemed necessary during a Day 1 Discovery Exam or during a care plan if spinal anatomical variation, degeneration or other findings warrant.

FAQs

  • At MFC we prioritize quality care. Insurance companies often dictate the amount of time a provider can spend with a patient and other variables of treatment - all without any knowledge of what is happening with your body. These restrictions often lead to subpar healthcare. Therefore, outside of traditional Medicare, we do not accept insurance. We are happy to check your out-of-network benefits and provide a superbill for your to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

  • You do not have to be a patient of chiropractic care to book a massage with one of our licensed massage therapists.

  • The Wellness Membership allows you to receive the care plan agreed upon by you and the provider for one flat rate. The Wellness Membership is $133 per month with at least a three-month commitment.

    Wellness memberships are great for individuals with chronic care needs or those looking to be proactive with their chiropractic care. Wellness members also receive a free 15-minute chair massage and $10 off massage per hour.
